ACUPUNCTURE TREATMENT OF METHODS ZIWULIUZHUWang Fengyi, Xing Zhuchao, Lii Xiujing, Ma Xueyuan (Department of Acupuncture, The First Hospital, Ha'erbin Medical College) Ziwuliuzhu is laid on the basis of promoting "Qi" and blood of the human body. It is of great importance to fix the time for selecting acupoints according the course of meridians and using manipulation methods to regulate the "Yin-Yang", "Qi" and blood. A total of 222 cases of acute and chronic diseases from different departments have been treated with acupuncture using methods of selecting acupoints of Ziwuliuzhu in our department since 1981. 121 were males and 101 were females. They were between 10-70 years of age. The majority of them were middle-aged. Methods: We applied acupuncture according to the methods "Najia" of Ziwuliuzhu. A needle in case of "Xu" was applied with the "Bu" method and in case of "Shi" was applied with the "Xie" method or even movements. Each course consisted of 10 treatments. Each patient received 1-2 courses of treatment, Results: Excellent: 46 cases (20.7%) Good: 39 cases (17.6%) Improved: 132 cases (59.4%) Failure: 5 cases (2.3%) The total effective rate was 97.7% Control group: Manipulation methods were used in control group as same as in Liuzhu group. Results of two groups are as follows: The total effective rate - in the Liuzhu group was 97.7%, in the control group was 90%. P<0.01. The difference was significant. Excellent rate-in the Liuzhu group was 20.7%, in the control group was 10.8%, P<0,01. The difference was significant Conclusion: The methods of Ziwuliuzhu can be widely applied in the clinical treatment. The methods are of choice in treating various diseases. It is highly effective especially in alleviating pains, in addition, the therapeutic course might be shortened.
