Ans. Pyecraft troubled Formalyn by requesting him again and again not to tell his secret to
others.

Ans. He took pains to get to know Formalyn because he had came to know that Formalyn had
certain recipes. He wanted to get it.

Ans. The recipes seemed unsafe and dangerous to him and he feared that Pyecraft’s life might be

Ans. The recipe failed to work because it was not prepared carefully.

Ans. The medicine failed to show any effect for the first six weeks after the handing over of the

Ans. Pyecraft had to observe the promise that he would not disclose the secret that the
grandmother of Formalyn was a Hindu lady.

Ans. After using the recipe Pyecraft had become weightless. He was locked up in the room so that
he might not fly up in the air. He was floating about in the room because he had become
weightless.

condition?
Ans. The recipes was meant for the reduction of weight and not of fatness. It was misinterpreted.
Q. 10: What device did Formalyn git upon to enable Pyecraft to lead a normal life again?
Ans. Formalyn advised him to use lead plates with his under clothing and thus gain weight and to
be able to lead a normal life.
