Three Leaf Clover

This is a pattern from Madison for four jugglers which I learned at the EJC in Karlsruhe in 2008. It's essentially a revolving feed with everyone walking round on a three leaf clover. You can try it with the feeder doing three count and the feedees doing nine count or with the feeder doing two count and the feedees doing six count.

The initial positions are shown below. A's first pass is with B. A stands still while B, C and D move in the direction of the green arrows.

Now A passes with C.

Now A passes with D. This is D's first pass as the feeder, so now D stands still and A starts to move along with B and C.

Now D passes with B.

Now D passes with C. This is C's first pass as the feeder, so now C stands still and D starts to move along with A and B.

Now C passes with A.

Now C passes with B. This is B's first pass as the feeder, so now B stands still and C starts to move along with A and D.

This diagram is just like the first one, except all the jugglers have moved around.
