Alternative Weave

I learned this alternative weave at Pass Out V in Hilden in 2007. It's a pattern for four jugglers A, B, C and D. A juggles a sweep feed on a two count and B, C and D walk around in a figure of eight pattern. B, C and D make two passes with A on two count when they are coming forward through the middle of the figure of eight. After that they do three count and make a left hand pass with one of the other feedees. Then they do four count and make another left hand pass with the other feedee. Then they do three count and they are ready to make another two passes with A.

A's first pass is with B as shown below:

B, C and D then move in the direction of the red arrows. On the next beat C passes with D. This is a left hand pass:

B, C and D continue in their figure of eight pattern. A's second pass is also with B:

A's next pass is with C:

On the next beat B passes with D. Once again this is a left hand pass:

A's next pass is with C:

A's next pass is with D:

This diagram is just like the first one, except all the jugglers have moved around one place.

variation #1
You could try this ambidextrous variation. A juggles a sweep feed on pass self pass self self and B, C and D walk around in a figure of eight pattern. B, C and D make two passes with A on two count when they are coming forward through the middle of the figure of eight. After that they do four count and make the next pass with one of the other feedees. Then they do five count and make another pass with the other feedee. Then they do four count and they are ready to make another two passes with A with their other hand.

variation #2
You could try this ambidextrous variation. A juggles a sweep feed on pass self pass and B, C and D walk around in a figure of eight pattern. B, C and D make two passes with A on two count when they are coming forward through the middle of the figure of eight. After that they do two count and make the next pass with one of the other feedees. Then they do three count and make another pass with the other feedee. Then they do two count and they are ready to make another two passes with A with their other hand.
