And there was a sound. A noise that was chaotic and shuddering. A beat or was it just a noise that hammered away in the back of your Sleeplessness thoughts. Something nasty but purposeful but also tender but blanked in a sea of noise and distortion.
Sleeplessness is a project that delves into the back of your unconscious thoughts. Created and developed by Brother Bliss in the winter of 2000, it is a project that challenges the way the very resistance of both music and thought.
Its Cut and Paste approach has been compare to Hicc Records own "Drive" but also to acts such as Nic Endo (from Atari Teenage Riot), Bomb 20 or Catt Hope. But he concludes "But I hope people begin to realise what I am doing is a style that not really being influenced apart from those Sleeplessness desires in my head".
Several albums exist, including a radical reworking of the first Distorted in Hindsight (D.I.H) album.
