Fun: 19 out of 20

Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando is a very immersive and fun game. It is a joy to play. If you liked the original or like platformers this game is definitely for you. This game is fun for anyone expect people who totally despise platformers. Along with perfect platforming action there is great weapon combat. It is a blast to use the wide variety of weapons on the hordes of enemies. This game is just plain fun. You just keep wanting to play this game even after it is over.

Innovation: 8.5 out of 10

Ratchet and Clank Going Commando is a innovative game. It has very odd and interesting weapons. The weapon and platforming combination works well together. This game shows what platformers could possibly become. Even though it is innovative it is alot like the original Ratchet and Clank.

Control: 9.5 out of 10

The control works very well in this game. Jumping from platform to platform is effortless. It is easy to use any of the weapons in the game. The only problem with the control is the manual camera. At times it is hard to move the camera around so you can see where you are jumping. That is the only small problem with the control.

Graphics: 9 out of 10

The graphics are nice but not great. There are great locales that you get to explore. They are creative and colorful. The creatures you fight are also creative and designed nicely. Overall the graphics are very good but I have seen better in other games.

Sound: 9 out of 10

The sound effects in the game are very well done. The sounds for explosions and the weapons are done very well. The voice acting for the characters is very well done. The music in the game is good but not memorable.

Replay value: 9 out of 10

The replay value of the game is above average. The game is overall on the shorter side. I finished the game the first time through in around 17 hours. What adds to the replay value is that if you play through the game again the game becomes 10 times harder. The second time through you can also upgrade your weapons further. Overall if you play through it two times the replay value is great.

Challenge: 8 out of 10

Ratchet and Clank is not the most challenging game out there. The first time you play through the game it is pretty easy. The enemies are more intellegent then in the previous game but they are still a little dumb and unchallenging. The platforming part is challenging but not fustrating. What helps out the challenge is that the more times you play the game the harder the enemies become.

Multiplayer: No multiplayer available

Story: 9.5 out of 10

Ratchet and Clank has a great story. The story begins with Ratchet and Clank being hired by Mr. Fizzwidget. Megacorp has been working on an experiment codenamed the protopet. It has been recently stolen and he wants you to get it back. The journey begins with that small job but becomes a grand journey. Ratchet and Clank's story is one of the best stories ever in a platformer.

Overall: 81.5 out of 90 (91%)

Ratchet and Clank is overall a great game. It has great platforming and shooting action. I think future platformers will look a lot like Ratchet and Clank. There are few problems in the entire game. I would recommend this game for everyone no matter if they like platformers or not. The only people who wouldn't like this game are those who really hate platformers.
