Fear (of Omarosa) is a Factor for Us

By: Adam Mortensen

The Show-Fear Factor
The Participants-Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth
What happened?-She made several mean remarks to fellow contestant Nikki, insulted Joe Rogan, and irritated every single player.
"Awards"-Jonathan's Medal of Meanness (this is her second career win in this category).

I really wish Omarosa would just leave our television screens for good. Her latest adventure landed her on Fear Factor along with several other reality veterans. She was joined by Ethan Zohn and Jenna Morasca (Survivor), Reichen Lehmkuhl (The Amazing Race), Nikki McKibbin (American Idol), and Ryan Sutter (The Bachelorette). She was just as bad (if not worse) than she was on The Apprentice. However, this time she was actually a force to be reckoned with game wise.

Everybody thought Omarosa was just on the show to extend her fifteen minutes of fame. Nobody seriously expected her to get past the first stunt. I will give her props as she definitely proved us wrong. She placed second for the women in the first challenge as well as the gross stunt. She wasn't able to participate in the third task (as she didn't know how to swim) but did a pretty good job in the car stunt (although she did finish last).

However, this appearance just furthered her legacy as one of the nastiest reality villains of all-time. She began by saying that Joe Rogan has an ego and that she should take his job and call it "the Omarosa show." Rogan is one of the best hosts of reality television. I highly doubt that Omarosa could do as good of a job. She also called him "crazy" and wondered out loud whether he was "intoxicated." Yeah Omarosa, I'm sure those reality hosts just get drunk before they have to do their show. It was obvious that Joe was incredibly irritated with her. He wasn't the only one.

Before the second task, they showed video clips of EVERYBODY wishing for Omarosa to go home. Even nice guys Ethan and Ryan couldn't find something nice to say. After Nikki gave (what I thought) was a pretty good musical performance, Omarosa said "Now I know why she didn't win American Idol." That insult has been done millions of time and it was a terrible thing to say. I'm sure she couldn't sing that well. That isn't the worst of it. For some reason, someone said that Omarosa got into their limousine and started yelling at them. Why, I don't know. The Nikki vs. Omarosa war just kept getting worse. During the disgusting challenge, she said that "Nikki is used to being in trashcans." That is so wrong on so many levels. The absolute worse line of the night came when she made Nikki cry. "This little girl has so many mental problems" was her statement and she proceeded to announce publicly stuff that Nikki probably didn't want on the air. It disgusted me so much that Omarosa regained the title of most hated villain.

The one good thing about the night was that we got to see Omarosa in pain. First, we saw one of the worst falls into the water in Fear Factor history. It looked bad but hey, she deserves it. The absolute best part was seeing her being bitten by snakes. It seemed like the snakes were more vicious towards Omarosa then any other contestant. She must have been bitten several times. It was also funny to see her attempts at "swimming." It certainly didn't look like swimming to me. It was so bad that she couldn't compete in one of the challenges.

For just being herself, Omarosa has earned her eighth award. This is her second Jonathan's Medal of Meanness. I highly doubt if we will ever see anybody take home as much hardware as Omarosa. At least, I hope not.
