Oh No! Omarosa

What Happened?-This should actually be what didn't happen. She lied, complained, and accused fellow contestants of racism.

I'm going to be doing this a little differently. Almost everybody else has slammed Omarosa without considering her side of the story. After a visit to my college, I am able to provide some of that. This isn't going to be your usual list of things Omarosa did wrong. I'm going to be adding notes from Omarosa's side of the story (in red).

Omarosa got off to a really rocky start by irritating her teammates early in the game. In the second episode, she got into a huge argument with Ereka that led to Omarosa claiming she had made racist remarks. In reality, Ereka had just used a common phrase that had absolutely nothing to do with race. The exact phrase was "that's like calling the pot calling the kettle black." She continued these accusations even after she was fired. The producers went over the tapes and saw no comments that could be considered racist. She didn't really touch on this subject during her presentation. Probably because she knew she was wrong and didn't have a defense. However, that same day she made comments during promotion for her upcoming Fear Factor episode about how Mark Burnett always casts "strong" African American women and lazy African American men. I almost have to agree with her.

She also had arguments with pretty much everybody else on her team. She fought with Heidi over where to have lunch. She fought with Kristi about who had lost the money on one of the tasks. She was also incredibly rude to pretty much everybody. She had a pretty good defense on these matters. She revealed that they have to ask permission to use the bathroom, turn off the lights in the "terrible" suite, and eat. She also claims that the producers get to pick what you get to wear during the show. So this is the reason why all the girls always seemed to wear short skirts and skimpy tops. They were pretty much forced too! Her biggest defense was that producers can manipulate footage anyway they want. She challenged the entire audience to have her follow them around for 24 hours and record everything. She said she could edit anyone to seem like a mean and vicious person. If some (or all) of this is true, I can understand her actions and I would consider removing this hall of shame entry. However, I doubt all of it is true as she seemed like the same person that the cameras showed.

She wasn't even that great of a businessperson. Throughout the show, she constantly brought her team down. They had to use so many resources just to keep her from destroying their chances. In the Trump Ice challenge, Omarosa kept trying to sell low numbers and contributed to their eventual loss.

One of her worst moments was when she was hit in the head by a piece of falling plaster in the remodeling challenge. She used this as a reason to escape the hard work that it would take to restore a home. She pretty much did nothing the entire challenge. However, she apparently was well enough to play basketball with a few kids from the neighborhood. She visited the hospital and doctors told her TWICE that her head was fine and she just had a small concussion. She would use this "concussion" throughout the rest of the show. She conveniently failed to touch on this subject as I'm sure she had no defense.

This is far from the end of this article. The episode she was fired she once again brought up her "concussion" and claimed she was being attacked unfairly. She ended up crying and breaking into the boardroom-interrupting Trump when he was trying to make his final decision. Even Trump showed no sympathy. It was clearly an act meant to get an emotional response from Trump. It didn't work. She was fired.

I've saved the worst for last. In the finale, some of the previously fired candidates were brought back to help the final two. Kwame stupidly picked Omarosa with his second pick. He would learn to regret this decision as she pretty much cost him the job. First, she received a phone call telling her that Jessica Simpson (whose concert they were planning) needed to be picked up. She pretty much ignored it. After she failed to do anything about it, Kwame was called. He had no idea about this change because Omarosa failed to tell him about it. She then got on the phone and claimed to not know anything about it. Kwame even said that if he could fire her, he would. Considering each team only had four members, that is sad that he would be willing to give up one of his members. Jessica Simpson ended up getting lost for awhile and had no idea what was going on. Omarosa also ran off with Jessica Simpson when Trump was trying to find her. In the end, even Trump said Kwame should have fired her and that was a large reason why he didn't hire him. I can actually see why she did this. During the presentation, she said she had a secret alliance with Bill and they would tell each other what their teammates were saying about them. This could be why she "threw" the challenge. She might have wanted Bill to win because of their previous alliance.

We were almost spared seeing Omarosa on our television screens. She claims that she only applied to the show because of a dare. When she got to the interviews, she was just trying to irritate the producers enough to keep her off the cast list. She ended up yelling at Mark Burnett to take his feet off the desk, button up his shirt, and fix his hair. Normally this would get you eliminated from contention but Mark Burnett for some reason liked it. The next interview was with Donald Trump himself. Right to his face, she told him that his hair was terrible and that he was cocky. Mr. Trump liked this and she wound up on the show. Too bad he didn't dislike that because we ended up having to see one of the worst contestants in reality television history. Her performance was so bad that she has earned multiple places in this hall of shame. She has "won" The "Fair Play" for Unnecessary Lying, Jonathan's Medal of Meanness, Honorary Ribbon of Laziness, A Bottle of Whine for the Biggest Whiners, The Freddy for Fantastic Fighting, The "Goat Award" for Poor Challenge Performance, and The William Hung Trophy for the Talentless.
