Brakenwood Golf Course is a well maintained a looked after course. Although it is never used in any major competitions, it is still an enjoyable course to play on. This moderately hard public course offers 18 official sized holes in which you can prcatice and play on. The course is situated in Bebington and boarders Clatterbridge making it an easy course to reach via any means of transport. The course is one to play and would offer a fun and enjoyable afternoon out.
The club is located off junction 4 of the M53 motorway; indeed the fifth tee is immediately adjacent to the motorway. After coming off the motorway at this junction take the B5151 signed posted for Birkenhead. Coming from the north it is the first road off the roundabout and coming from the south it is the third road off the roundabout.
This road is called Mount Road and the golf course is on the right as you travel up the road. Do not take the right slip road into Brackenwood Road. Proceed about a mile to the crest of the hill and take the first right turn into Bracken Lane. The entrance to the golf course is fifty yards on the right.
The golf club is the building on the right as you drive into the course.
