TB: I really like this one. It definitely will be added to the game.

TB: Personally I don't like this one since it takes out the tactical element of finding enough food.

AV: Portable altair (weight: 1000 or 2000; doesn't change color; very rare, but can be "wished")?
TB: No, no and no. IMHO it's too powerful.
AV: And what about the remaining parts of ADOM RPG engine?
TB: I'm working on it. When ADOM 0.9.9 Gamma 9 is released, a lot of sections will be updated, but it's still far from complete. I'm working on that, too :-)
AV: Will Gamma 9 be available soon?
TB: In a week or maybe two.
AV: And again with incompatible savegame files? :(
TB: No. The major goal for Gamma 9 (besides fixing bugs ;-) has been to ensure save file compatibility. Gamma 10 again will have incompatible save files because almost all major data structures will get revised to accomodate for more quests, spells, items, monsters, the monster inventories, maybe even a second surface map and a lot more. The changes will be so sweeping that it would be a nightmare trying to keep save files compatible... and I simply don't have the time to care for that.

AV: Does the idea of corruptions come from AD&D Ravenloft?
TB: It's about 10% Ravenloft, 20% radiation rules from Gamma World, 20% corruption ideas from Warhammer and 50% of what I used in a homebrew roleplaying game system to simulate the effects of dark magic on the caster :->
