Yes, Berserker79 is back in the world of DooM with a new terrific creation: the Castle of the Berserkers. Make your way through an overrun UAC base invaded once again by the minions of Hell. Lots of action for those who enjoy best single-player mode: test your skills on this level at Ultra Violence or, if you like hunting, play Deathmatch against your friends on this very big map. Coop mode is supported as well.
Single play: Castle of the
Berserkers was created with Single play in mind: it's a vast map with a big
external court-yard and the castle itself, with its interiors: storage areas,
computer rooms and other. Plenty of demons waiting to eat some fresh human meat.
Obviously you don't have to let them get their desires satisfied: an arsenal of
weapons is waiting for you in the castle in order to sweep away all your
enemies.
Coop mode: Cooperative play is supported for 4 players.
I'm not sure it will work very well, because I don't think there's enough stuff
for 4 players.
Deathmatch: You can also challenge your friends
into a Deathmatch on this map: the outside area could be very fun for good
frags, but the level is very big, so I believe this Wad is ideal for those who
enjoy hunting down their frag-friends without worrying of the time passing... :)
Music: The music in Castle of the Berserkers as well as the one
you're listening now on this page was written by David Shaw of Intersonic
Productions.
Graphics: The sky beneath which lies the Castle
of the Berserkers was created by Treks. You
can reach from here his homepage Treks'
State of art.
You'll need a full version of Doom 2 to play this
Pwad; Castle of the Berserkers will not run with the shareware version. I
haven't put any demo into the Pwad, so don't worry about which version you've
got (1.666 or 1.9). Castle of the Berserkers can also be played with DooM: Legacy or BOOM (To avoid being annoyed by a 2S HOM I'd
reccomend you to play using ZDoom or BOOM).
Castle of the Berserkers is waiting to be
downloaded! Get it now and then mail me your opinions; I'd be very glad to
receive comments, suggestions and even criticism (constructive, please).
