A Scottish Presbyterian missionary was the founder of this school located in the heart of the city. The school buildings overlook the city's bustling business centre and during the noon hour the green and white clad girls can be spotted taking a break on the hillside facing Main Street. The majority of the students are from the local area but, due to the popularity of the school, girls from the neighbouring states along with Bhutan, Nepal and Sikkim are well represented.
