Commercial Eprom Programmers Look for commercial programmers in Nuts and Volts magazine and eBay Also checkout sites here and here. Personally, I have purchased programmers from an outfit in Sacramento called General Devices who seems to have gone...but at the time I requested obsolete slow refurbished or otherwise cheap programmers and paid $50 for the first and $70 for the second one, both of which worked great. I see no need to spend $150 or $200 for a programmer. But make certain what you purchase will read and produce binary files and will program the manufacturer of the part you are going to program.
