| We thought he was a potential champion, but once again, Jean failed to supply. In spite of a haul of four second places! After being thwarted by a totally uncompetitive car early in the season, the Frenchman held third place in the World Championship was a long period. But he was overtaken by Frentzen and caught up with by Coulthard in the closing stages. He has signed with Sauber for two years. |
