Boeing 737, a usual aircraft you would say. Well, compared to many other Boeing birds, it is. But still, it's a good airliner and it serves in many douzens of countries, all over the world. Imagine that one day, something wrong would be discovered about it. Well, it already has !
Well, after several recent accidents involving the Boeing 737 jets, namely the 100 and 200 versions especially (also some 300s), a drastic control by Boeing and a whole lot of other investigation comissions including FFA's, engineers have discovered a shattering thing: the rhudders of the 737 are wrongly designed, and that error may have contributted to almoust all of the 737 crashes in the world... If you know how long the 737 has been transporting us, you know what I'm talking about..huge figures..
Engineers have discovered a design error on the rhudder of all the 100, 200 and many of the 300 Boeing 737 jets, and they all have to be re-called to be modified at Boeing's facilities in the US. This wave of Investigations came after two more recent accidents involving suspicious airodynamic data, which only confirmed earlier fears and reports.
There are no less than 13,000 Boeing 737 jets currently operating in the US and over 4,000 others in the world. After the re-designing of all these jets, there will also be a new pilot's procedure for landing and take-off.
Oh well, just as long there won't be any more accidents...
