Back to the Cold War ?

After more than 10 years, the Ghosts of the Past could soon return

Today, the Russian Federation's President, Vladimir Putin, lead a meeting inside the Kremlin to discuss the Russian Nuclear Warfare Arsenal's Status. Vladimir Putin then released a statement to the Press in which he states that Russia will not remain without a response to George Bush's new Star Wars missile defense program. Vladimir Putin also stated that Russia will re-start three of its missile defense programs of the Cold War period in order to counterballance the US program.
I have entered in contact with a very special version of the MiG31 Foxhound of the Cold War period, a version especially built to shut down incoming nuclear missiles. The MiG31BM Foxhound is the 2000s version of that Cold War fighter and its purpose is to intercept and destroy cruise missiles such as the Tomahawk. But if we listen to Putin's promisses, it seems that the old era's nuclear threat syndrom will soon come back to haunt the world yet once again. And so, it seems mankind never learnt anything from the last 50 years of nuclear threat era...
