Finally, more money!

Today, the Romanian Parliament finally voted for the raising of the Defense budget for this year, unfortunately with very little money, just 7,000 billion lei, which at the time ment around 260 million dollars. Even tough more than 70% of those money are destined to the Intelligence Community, the rest will get to the Armed Forces.
I hope they will finally update those SOCATs, the last MiG-21s and develope the almighty MiG-29 Sniper for a beginning. Then they could finally update some TR-85M1 tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, fast attack vehicles, weapons, warships and start repairing the current weaponry which is still waiting in the hangars for spareparts. But Romania is always Romania, and even in the military field of activity, messy things can happen with funding, so let's just wait and see.
