Cuba and IAR
If they had the money, the Cubanese would buy Romanian updated IAR-99 Soim

Cubanese officials visited IAR S.A. and Avioane S.A Craiova, where they assisted to a demonstration in air and were also shown on the ground the updated version of the IAR-99 Soim. The aircraft costs under 6 million dollars, and the cubanese were so impressed, that they said if they had the money, they would buy IAR99s
It would be interesting to see American F14s, F-16s and F/A 18s trying to keep Romanian-built IAR-99s out of the coast of Florida, when they are operated by Fidel Castro's cubanese pilots.
