Unloaded AMRAAM Smashes a car

Today, out in the far continent of Australia, something happened that you just don't see every day. An Australian F/A 18 Hornet, loaded with a couple of fuel tanks and also 2 AIM-120 AMRAAM air-air radar guided medium range missiles, was flying in a routine flight, while one of the missiles accidentally "departured" from the aircraft, and landed on a... car. The car owner was just preparing to take his car and go to work, when this 135kg missile fell on his car, turning it into a piece of scrap-metal. Fortunately, this particular AMRAAM didn't had any warheads on, because it was only a maneouvre missile, so no big explosions were recorded. The commander in chief of the Royal Australian Air Force publically appologized for the incident, while the owner of the car has been guaranteed with full re-funding for his loss.
Thank-God nobody was injured anyway. The pilot didn't even notice that the missile suddently left its aircraft, and no digital equipment showned its missing neither. Some sord of error...
