Hallo Renee, Het is mij een genoegen om de site te lezen het ziet er ook zeer mooi uit.Ik heb na mijn weten de oudste nog bestaande verkochte 16 (chassy nr 00012), maar ik ben nu nog op zoek naar de '65 bekleding in beige zodat ik hem weer kan teug bouwen naar zoals h j van de fabriek is afgeleverd.Wat er nu in zit is wel orgineel '65,maar zwart kunstleer. Ik heb ook voor de liefhebbers nog een aantal dubbele modelauto's te koop en een aantal advertenties (dit is van diverse typen Renault).Ik ben ook voor mij zelf een oto archief aan het opzetten over de nog bestaande 16, zowel sloop wagens als de rijdende en gerestaureerde. Kan je mij hierbij helpen om een zo groot mogelijk archief te verkrijgen.(liefst orginele foto's) Bijvoorbaat dank. Very nice site. Congratulations. But you haven.t written something: Renault 12 was a car developed by Renault in Romania. The prototype was tested in Ro. When Dacia decided to produce Renault 8 in Romania, Renault promised to the Romanian staff a new car, the R12, which was at that time a prototype. Then, the prototype was tested by mr.Petre Cristea, the winner of the Monte Carlo Rally. And the new car, called R12 and Dacia 1300 was shown in the same time at the Paris Motorshow and at Romanian TIB motorsho . So, the R12 is from the start a french and a romanian car. Super site. Fijn om te zien dat er steeds meer mensen komen die hun liefde voor de uiterst lelijke R12 willen delen. Zo lelijk dat je haar wel mooi moet vinden. Hi, R12 wagon was my first car. I liked it very much. Later I had R18 (missing in your list!), R11, R21 and R25 TI. My father had two R16 (TL and TS) when I was small, later two R20 (also TL and TS), two R25 (TS and TI) and now Safrane. Finally got an R16 registered after not owning one for 15 years. Had 4 previously (1969 16, 1974 16TS, 1975 16TS and 1976TS), magnificent and under-rated cars. It was owned by one family until I purchased it. Done 120,000 miles and not a spot of rust, ery original condition. Will now look forward to contacting other 16 owners in Victoria, Australia.

Via deze weg wil ik een oproep doen aan alle R14 rijders die er nog zijn. Ik weet dat het soms moeilijk tot zeer moeilijk is om onderdelen te krijgen. Daarom biedt ik bij deze i.v.m. OVERCOMPLEET(jawel u leest het goed) diverse onderdelen aan. Verder hoop ik de R14 vaker op de weg mogen te zien. Dus aan iedereen met een R14 doe er zuinig mee, wij hebben nu eenmaal een aparte en "zeldzame" renault uit de familie!

Having owned only Renaults throughout my driving years (750,10,12,15,16TSA(Turbo),17TS,20GTX,Fuego and two 25's) I am looking forward to Rege returning to Australia in it's own right in the near future.
