In two rows all participants lined up on
Avenue Foch. |
According to the police, there were 2,500
2cv's, instead of the licensed 500! Avenue Foch wasn't long enough to give room
to all 2cv's; even on the Périphérique 2cv's were lined up. |
In groups of 30 cars we took off at 3 pm. At
5 pm still 2cv's were starting from Avenue Foch. |
Immediately the groups joined each other at
the Place Carles de Gaulle, because there was a long queue soon on the Champs Elysées! |
2cv rush hour! |
The public waving and applauding at the long
row of, sometimes strangely looking, 2cv's. |
A riding home! Mind the birthday cake on the
bonnet! Between the tea and salt and pepper this man kept his goldfish! |
From the Champs Elysées to the 1st Grand
Palais. |
