Tuning Information - 1750 GT Veloce

Spark Plug Type	Lodge 2HLN or 2HL NGK BP7ES / BPR7ES (with Resistor) Bosch W8DC (?)
Spark Plug Gap	Lodge 2HLN - 0.50-0.60mm (0.020" - 0.024") Lodge 2HL - This type of plug cannot be adjusted NGK - 0.60mm (0.024") Bosch - 0.50mm (0.020")
Points Type	Early Bosch Distributor (044) - Two Piece points, Bosch Part No 1-237-013-001 Late Bosch Distributor - One Piece Marelli (S103A) - Breaker Assembly, Marelli Part No 71-038-002
Points Gap	Bosch - 0.35-0.40mm (0.014" - 0.016") Marelli - 0.40-0.50mm (0.016" - 0.019")
Dwell Angle	60 +/-3 degrees

Useful Info (from the AROO Tuneup Clinic)

Distributor Rotor Turns Clockwise Firing Order: 1-3-4-2
Crank turns clockwise (looking from front of car)
To ADVANCE timing - turn distributor HOUSING Counter CW - timing marks on crank will APPEAR to move up (CCW-from Exhaust side to Intake side)
Plug fires when points first OPEN. An ohmmeter across the points will indicate "Infinity". A voltmeter will indicate approximately 8V when ignition key Is ON and points are open. A test light connected to the primary wire will glow when points are open.
