The Swedes are those who use the most european bodied cars.
Like Mats Lindkvist's Volvo 142 and Bosse Hall's Ford Anglia.
Both Chevy V8 powered though.

The two Finnish drivers in the race.
Lasse Niskavaara with a roof chopped '70 Camaro
and "lands-Pelle" Eriksson in a Pontiac Grand prix.

One great thing about Super Gas is the variety of cars.
A turbo-charged VW bug against a super-charged C5 Corvette for example!

Converted buses are a popular way to haul racecars in Scandinavia.
Hkan Mattsson of Sweden has this one.
The back half is coverted to contain the car, driven in through the gate in the back.

A van and a trailer is also a popular way to transport a race car.
Mats Lindkvist has a white Pace trailer like us with a white Chevy Van like us.
Note that he proudly hangs the Swedish flag on his trailer.

The most impressive rig in European Super Gas racing belongs to Per Olov "lands-Pelle" Eriksson.
He lives on the island land between Sweden and Finland and has to go by boat to every race. We understand that he wants to travel in comfort!

Hkan and Morten congratulates each other with their 1st and 2nd places!
