We had more or less given up finding any grip, and started to wonder if the slicks had let us down. This is our third season on this pair.
At last, we qualified 5th, one place lower than the first race.

In the eliminations the bad luck for once came in the other lane.
While waiting in the line-up, our competitor Richard Bugge Andersen discovered that his right tyre was going flat. So we had a bye-run to round 2.
But there we met Petter Sukkestad again. And we were not surprised at all when we had a failstage and Petter got a bye-run. It was definetely not our weekend!
This time "Asse" Øvstetun took home the win in his wheelstanding '69 Camaro.
