Blue Lovers Too Hot for TV!
From Woman’s Day
"I think it’s still going to be a long path, but I think that they’re on that path now. Maggie’s finally admitted that she’s crazy about this guy and, likewise, he is with her. It’s really nice - it’s a bit more of a mature relationship now.
"It took them four years to admit that they like each other, but hopefully they’ll still fight. I really believe that these two people fight well and are able to make up afterwards and I like that about them," she laughs.
"It’s never going to be easy, I guess, in terms of the relationship and I think it might be a bit on-again, off-again," predicts Martin. "It’s been going on for quite a number of years and I think it will just boil along and have its hiccups and moments and difficulties.
"There would be a problem of them working together. They’re trying to be secretive, but I don’t know how well they’re doing it. I mean, you work with people in a police station - you’d think they’d have an inkling."
But, says Martin, Maggie and PJ’s strength will come from the bond of friendship forged over four years.
"They get along as mates and equals and I think that’s the crux of it, really - they’re just great mates. That fondness has developed into a love for each other."
Lisa also promises some magical moments as the couple return from their romantic getaway.
"It’s going to be the two of them trying to make a life together ... but they’re not. They’re not going to live together, they’re going to feel their way through it. It’s still at the very early stages - anything can happen and it probably will!"
