In this episode, a particularly nasty Senior Constable comes to Mt Thomas, and begins grilling Tom’s officers - particularly Maggie. The others, namely Nick and PJ find it pretty hilarioius but she certainly doesn’t.
When the two of them come across Maggie standing like a chastised schoolgirl in front of some illegally parked cars being shown the "correct tequnique" for boooking them, PJ slaps Nick’s chest and the stop.
PJ: (softly) Oh, the poor sweetheart…..
Nick: What?
PJ: (proceeds to tell him about Maggie’s nighmare Senior)
Nick: Ah…should we go help out?
PJ: (to himself) Ah Mags - you poor, poor darling…..
Nick: PJ? PJ?
PJ: (looks at Nick and grins) Nah, detour mate!
And they nick off, leaving Maggie to cop the blows by herself!
