POOR BOY Tuning: Standard There are various guitars plus piano all contributing to some fairly fluid harmonies in this one, but here are the chord shapes for a pretty accurate version. There are only a few harmonic differences to the Gastel/Thompson version also on this site, but as it's in standard tuning, the fingerings are different. Intro: Cm7 F9 x35343 x33543 Verse: Cm7 Bm7/G bass four times x35343 3x4232 Bbm7 Eb9 four times x13121 x11321 Cm7 Bm7/G bass "Nobody knows..." C7 Cdim Fm6/C Cadd9 x35353 x34242 x33131 x32030 "A poor boy.." C C7sus4 F four times x32010 x33310 x33211 ... G7sus4 / G7 twice 353533 353433 notes: 1. For the Bm7/G bass, try ring finger on the bottom string and little finger on the D string. 2. The 7th in the first chord of "Nobody knows" is a bit optional; it's in the track, but may be a bit too prominent as part of this chord. 3. The chords in "Nobody knows" are basically the same as in the Gastel/Thompson but relabelled a bit. Tabbed by Chris Healey
