The Wrong Trousers - Wallaces and Gromit's second adventure - and my favourite. I just love that penguin!Gromit is enjoying his groovy musical birthday card, hoping his master will remember that it is his birthday. Wallace accidentally lets it slip that he has got pressies, complaining that they were expensive. The 9.05 train brings in some presents - and Gromit gets exited. He gets a dog collar and lead - making him look tough. But that is not all. Wallace leads him into a room where there is a moving present! Gromit - after being shit scared, looks at the techno trousers, which Wallace nicked from NASA. Wallace ties the lead onto the trousers - and programs walkies for Gromit. While alone - Wallace assesses the money situation - and decides to get a lodger.
A penguin knocks at the door - after the room. He sees the room and thinks it is crap - so instead he invades Gromit's room and makes himself at home - playing dodgy music and redecorating with pink fish wallpaper. Very nice. The penguin starts to make himself at home - fetching Wallace's newspapers and even putting on his slippers! What with the dodgy music, and the penguin taking his place, Gromit thinks enough is enough - and decides to leave.
In the meantime - the penguin has discovered Gromit's "Electronics for Dogs book" He modifies the Wrong Trousers - so they are now operated by remote control! He then places the wrong trousers where Wallace's breakfast chair used to be. When the lever is pulled, Wallace is tipped up from his bed - and lands straight in the Wrong Trousers. The penguin takes him on a little ride around the neighbourhood.
Gromit looks at the advertisements for a place to stay. He sees a wanted poster for "Feathers" McGraw. Now where has he seen that chicken before?
Gromit sees Wallace speeding along in the Wrong Trousers - then sees the penguin operating the remote control. Something fishy is going on. Gromit sets about spying on the penguin - and sees him measuring up a museum window. Gromit sneaks into the penguin's room - and discovers that the penguin is planning to do a diamond robbery! The penguin returns - and Gromit hides in Wallace's bed - along with the sleeping Wallace and the Wrong Trousers. Gromit sees the penguin put on a rubber glove on his head - and transform into Feather's McGraw! "Feathers" then gets Wallace out of bed - and trundles him off to the Museum. With the aid of the Wrong Trousers he manages to steal the diamond - but then breaks a laser beam which sets of an alarm! They manage to escape to 62 West Wallaby Street - where Gromit is waiting for the penguin with a rolling pin - but he pulls out a gun - and locks Wallace in Gromit in the wardrobe! They manage to break open the wardrobe and chase the Penguin on Wallace's train. Eventually, Gromit manages to catch the Penguin in a bottle?!?! The penguin is put behind bars - and Wallace and Gromit get a fat reward for capturing the penguin. Gromit moves back in - and they throw the Techno Trousers in the rubbish. This is the end - and as the credits appear - the trousers come back to life and vanish into the distance - Cool!
