Lee Major's New Show Scrapped

LOS ANGELES - New Line Television is tossing "Hard Knox" out the window. The studio has decided against launching the syndicated show, starring Lee Majors and Thomas Calabro ("Melrose Place"), despite its clearing TV stations in more than 90 percent of the country, according to Variety.

The company cited difficulty securing international funding, which was also a key issue in the studio decision to scrap last year's series "Matthew Blackheart: Monster Smasher," which had been cleared by about 65 percent of the U.S.' local markets.

That's too bad. I was looking forward to seeing Thomas team up with The Six Million Dollar Man.
