Jack Wagner tees up for ESPN

�����ESPN, striving to broaden its audience by producing more sports programming with an entertainment angle, has signed a deal with actor Jack Wagner ("Melrose Place") to host a showbiz golf show called "Off Course."
�����The format is still being worked on, but the idea is for Wagner, an accomplished golfer, to tape a round of golf with celebrities from both entertainment and sports.
�����The matches would take up the first part of the half-hour weekly show, with the second half devoted to an interview of the celebrity by Wagner, focusing on their golf games.
�����There's no timetable yet for an ESPN air date of "Off Course," said Mike Antinoro, ESPN's senior coordinating producer.
