The stars of MELROSE PLACE gathered for a farewell bash at the Century Club in Hollywood to celebrate the show's seven seasons on the air.

THE MAGIC TOUCH
Leather-clad Producer Heather Locklear (Amanda), who jump-started the ratings when she joined MP in the middle of the first season, arrived with her rocker hubby, Richie Sambora.

RETURN TO SENDER?
"He's going back to daytime," cracked Thomas Calabro (Michael) of Jack Wagner (Peter; ex-Frisco, GENERAL HOSPITAL, below). Could there be truth to the (completely unsubstantiated) rumor that Wagner will join the cast of NBC's PASSIONS?

SCENE STEALERS
Rena Sofer (Eve; ex-Lois, GH) and husband Wally Kurth (Ned, GH) made the scene. "The finale is awesome," reports Sofer.

SHORT, BUT SWEET
"Everybody's been really great to work with," says John Haymes Newton (Ryan), who enjoyed his one and only season at the apartment complex.

EGO CHECK
"We beat the odds a lot of times on this show," admits Calabro, with his wife, Elizabeth Pryor. "There have been no egos on this show, from the head honcho to the Kraft service guy. It really has been pretty good."

Kraft service? Who's that, the guy serving cheese? They meant craft service, the guy that provides snacks and beverages for the cast and crew. So maybe he does dish out cheese.
