Variable spelling of given name: Eliakim Brownson, NEHGR 115:195-7> Eliakim and his brother Josiah both moved into the area which was in dispute between the Province of New York and the Colony of New Hampshire. Says he died in Tinmouth, VT, abt 1792. His land is Stoughton was bounded southerly by "the Colony Line" and by Jeremiah Willis (who in 1742 married Eliakim’s widowed sister, Remember (Perry) Tupper). He was appointed administrator of the estate of his brother-in-law Thomas Tupper, Jr., and on 12 Aug 1740, as administrator, he sold some of the Tupper land to his brother, Nathaniel. Eliakim Perry removed to Norwich about 1747 and before 1775, he moved again to the neighborhood of Tinmouth.
