The Tobey Genealogy (1905) by Tobey & Pope, p. 138 shows that Barnabas⁵ Tobey (Elisha⁴, Ephraim³, Gershom², Thomas¹) had a first wife, Lucinda, alleged to be a daughter of this Joseph Landers. If so, Lucinda also d.s.p., before date of her father’s will. To strengthen this allegation Joseph Landers named Barnabas Tobey co-executor of his will. [Lydia B. (Phinney) Brownson and Maclean W.
