Levi5 Landers (John4, Amos3, Richard2, Thomas1), born 6 Jan. 1766, died 3 March 1842 of consumption, "ae. 76" (Falmouth Town Records).

He married 12 Nov. 1804 Love (Davis) Landers, widow of Prince5 Landers, born about 1771, died 10 Oct. 1845 "ae. 74" (Falmouth Town Records).

A deed dated at Falmouth 7 June 1827 is helpful: "Levi Landers in the right of my wife; I, Love Landers, wife of sd Levi, with the consent and concurrence of my husband, in my own right; I, Abigail Landers, wife of Joseph Landers, in my right of dower, all of Falmouth in the County of Barnstable... in consideration of Forty Eight Dollars to us paid by Luther Bowerman of sd Falmouth... mariner... have forever... quitclaimed... all right... to a certain lot of land, with the building thereon standing, lying in said Falmouth... on the North Shore Road near the Friends Meeting House... being the same which the late Prince Landers of said Falmouth and Joseph Landers formerly owned and improved, together with all priviledges". Signed: Levi Landers, Love Landers, Eunice Landers, Abigail Landers. Witnessed by: Richd I. Wood, Silas J. Eldred, Henry C. Bourn (Falmouth Town Deeds, Barnstable County Deed Registry, vol. 1, p. 522). We wonder why Joseph5 Landers did not sign this release, although his wife Abigail did so. The instrument makes it clear that Love Landers signed in her own right (i.e. as widow of Prince5 Landers) as well as having dower right in the property of her then husband, Levi5 Landers.

Children (Falmouth Town Records). [Lydia B. (Phinney) Brownson and Maclean W. McLean, "Thomas1 Landers of Sandwich, Mass.," NEHGR 124:283]
