Sons (per Alexander): John (1695-1769) Jeremiah (1696-1752) Melatiah (1700-1786) (probably) Edward d.1783. Alexander gives John’s life span as 1658-1733) (copied about 20 May 1994 by Grace V Dillingham at Library of Congress). From Freeman’s Cape Cod Sandwich Families vol 11 p 476 Copied by either FWD or Dean Dudley: John Dillingham son of Henry and Hannah Perry Dillingham probably married Sarah daughter of Shearjashub Bourne of Sandwich and sister of Hon Melatiah Bourne, born 12 June 1694 (Swift’s Barnstable Families page 114). Sarah was born 6 July 1681. Melatiah Dillingham was born in 1700, as he was 86 at his death 1786. Shearjashub Bourne wife was Bathsheba daughter of James Skiffe. [Sarah is #355 in this record.] Alexander gives John’s wife as probably Lydia Hatch. The arguments are not conclusive, but definitely better than those for Sarah Bourne. [DILLIN.GED]
