What she does manage to fit covers quite a wide range. Only one or two staff at the most but really nice people.
2) Lots of fabrics to choose from, funnily enough many I had never seen in Sydney shops. Lots of FQs cut up (around NZ$6), lovely quilts on the wall, lots of patterns, friendly lady. I found some delighted batik frogs and some kiwi fabric.

Cushlas moved early in 2007 to Victoria Road from Clarence Street & is a lovely big store with helpful staff
2) Lovely shop. I have actually dealt with them via the Toowoomba Quilt Shows and mail order before but it was nice to actually visit them. The ferry ride was part of the fun.

2)It was a great shop with lovely staff. They have a small sign now but I didnt see that till I came out of the arcade. I found it quite easily because the Scqilters list said down an arcade, I just went till I found it. Actually it is only about 30yards from the street.

This place is on the Gordonton-Hamilton road.
I mail order from here as they have a really good mail order service. They do books , doll patterns, bear bits and have a continuously up dated selection of fabric. Hazel goes to Houston every year to check out what's new and order in. They cover most ranges e.g Hoffmann, jinny Beyer , Debbie Mumm, RJR etc. As part of their mail order they do mystery quilts, progressive dolls, block of the month(organised so that you get to keep your own blocks ). I have found that when I get my 5" swatches I can ring them and describe a fabric over the phone and they will send it to me. They also don't mind children so long as they play with the toy box out the back .
2)It would have to be one of the best quilt shops that I have ever been to. Staff brilliant.
