This shop has just been named one of the 10 best in North America, which they are very pleased about.
All the shops carry a good range of fabrics, and the staff are always very helpful
2 This is one of my favourite shops, good selection of fabric and quilting books/supplies/gifts/teddy bears. Friendly staff. Near UBC's Museum of Anthropology.
The North Vancouver shop is easier and quicker for me to get to but I usually go to the Vancouver shop. Each shop carries slightly different fabrics.

Penticton

Poppin's Parlour
was a general fabric store for 10 years and about 3 years ago went into quilting fabrics. I haven't been in this shop, however other quilters say it is a good little shop.

This is one of my favourite shops and whenever going through Kelowna I always try to plan it so I can stop. It changed owners two years ago and is now owned by Arlene Lystra - she worked at a quilt shop in Vancouver before buying the shop in Kelowna. She also designs bear patterns under the label of "Teds and Threads"- excellent bear patterns!

John's Warehouse OR John's Fabric Warehouse
I have only been to the shop in Kelowna and it is an excellent place to find discontinued lines of fabrics, prices are very good - actually his prices hurt the quilt shops. I wasn't able to locate the address. I know the one in Kelowna is in an industrial part south of Kelowna and that area might not be Kelowna it maybe Westbank.
The outlet in Kamloops also has quilting classes so may also carry quilting tools.
