EKIS solicits the submission of Kansas history materials in public domain for the purpose of converting to electronic form and archiving them in the Kansas Collection. We suggest that unpublished manuscripts, family diaries, collections of research materials, published texts in the public domain, letters, historic maps and photographs, and other such materials relating to Kansas are particularly appropriate for this site.
Kansas Heritage Server Interactive GenealogyGenealogists tracing their roots to Kansas will find a wealth of information here detailing the lives of Kansas pioneers and modern family histories. The site also posts links to genealogy sites on the Web.
The Kansas Pioneers Project List (KPL) is a compilation of settlers sent (e-mailed) directly from networkers doing genealogical and historical research that they are willing to disclose. The list currently contains many names and continues to grow as more computer users and historians
become aware of its existence.
