24th March:
Martina has done very well in the Swedish Championship this far. She was 2nd in the downhill, 3rd in the super-g and today she got another bronze medal when she was 3rd in the giant slalom. Only Anna Ottosson and Anja Prson were faster down the piste in Sollefte, Sweden.
10th February:
Martina finished 11th in an Europa Cup giant slalom in Italy.
23rd January:
For the first time since the premier race of the season, Martina managed to get a 2nd run. She was 24th after the first run and moved up on place to finish 23rd.
12th January:
Finally Martina got the result she has struggled the whole season to get. She finished 2nd in an Europa Cup giant slalom, and it should have done her confidence good. Maybe it's time for a place in the 2nd run in the next World Cup GS race?
8th January:
Like in the previous giant slaloms this season, Martina was very close to be one of the 30 who get a 2nd run. She finished 33rd in the first run. This season Martina's name has been found several times between 32nd and 35th place in the resultlists of the first run.
5th January:
Martina was very close to qualify for the 2nd run in today's giant slalom in Maribor, Slovenia. She had a very good splittime, but then she made a big mistake in the lower part of the course, and her chance to get a 2nd run flew away. Too bad for Martina, who has been very close to qualify (around 32nd to 35th place) every time she has made it to the finish in the first run.
28th December:
Martina skied too slow in the first run of the Lienz GS race, and wasn't invited back for the 2nd run.
30th October:
With a startnumber out of the 30 seeded skiers, Martina managed to get a 2nd run, and finished 25th. Her personal best is a 3rd from Tignes two seasons ago, and now she showed that she belongs in the seeded group.
