15th March:
Janette finished 8th in the GS at the Europa Cup finals.
26th February:
For the 2nd time in her World Cup career, Janette scored points in super-g when she finished 30th in Innsbruck today.
19th February:
After being 6th fastest to the intermediate split in the first run of the sprint downhill, Janette made a mistake and was 16th after the first run. In the 2nd run she made a mistake at the upper part of the course and moved down to finish 22nd, her next best downhill result. Stig Strand, former Swedish world class skier and commentator at Swedish TV, said about Janette: "Give her one more year and she will be among the top skiers". Encouraging words for Janette!
18th February:
Janette surprised everyone today when she had the 12th quickest time in the 3rd training run for tomorrow's downhill. "I hope to finish in the top 15, Janette says. The competitions in �re is what I have been waiting for the whole season".
13th February:
For the first time in her career, Janette finished in the top 10 in a WC-race. The place was Santa Caterina, the discipline was combined and her result was 7th.
10th February:
Today Janette scored World Cup points in super-g for the 2nd time this season, and she finished at the same position as last time; 28th.
23rd January:
Janette failed to finish the first run of the giant slalom in Cortina.
22nd January:
In today's downhill at Cortina d'Ampezzo, Janette again collected World Cup points by finishing 29th.
9th January:
Janette won't race in the super-g and downhill in Altenmarkt next weekend. The next time we will see her in World Cup action is for the races in Cortina the weekend after the races in Altenmarkt.
5th January:
Janette didn't finish in the top 30 in the 1st run of Maribor's World Cup GS, and therefore didn't get a 2nd run.
29th December:
Like yesterday, Janette didn't qualify for the 2nd run in today's slalom.
28th December:
Janette was unable to repeat the success from St. Moritz in todays GS. She didn't qualify for the 2nd run.
19th December:
For the first time in her career, Janette scored points in a WC super-g race, when she finished 28th today. During this weekend Janette has shown that Swedish speed skiing isn't only Pernilla Wiberg.
18th December:
From a startnumber of 49, Janette skied into 18th place, which is her best World Cup result. This was only the 22-year-old Swede's 2nd WC downhill, and with the two placings 25th and 18th this week-end, she will soon be starting among the top 30 skiers if she continues to ski this way. After the race she said to a Swedish newspaper that she feels confident now, and that she knows that she can ski fast.
17th December:
In her first WC downhill, Janette Hargin finished 25th from a high startnumber.
