GIVES BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
THROUGH SERVICE
The Bammel Chess Club has joined forces with the Bammel National Junior Honor Society to give something back to our area. The two groups have adopted a section of Ella Boulevard between Westfield High School and Richie Road. They will be responsible for keeping this area clean and litter-free. Both organizations have a philosophy of service to the community. The Honor Society recently donated $300 to Bammel Middle School to help with its campus beautification project. They feel it is not enough to just be a group or organization. That group must find ways to be an active part of the community and help in any way possible. They encourage you to find ways to help your area through service. Together we can make a difference!
