Aloysians Volleyball Club was formed on the 23rd of September 1973. In those days, with volleyball still in it's infancy in Malta, the club dominated the local scene, with a number of teams in both the men's and the women's senior divisions. There is no information at present of the exact number of leagues won by Aloysians in those years, since no detailed records were kept.

Season 1994-95

Saint Aloysius College Volleyball Club in it's present state was formed in August 1994, when the volleyball coach at Saint Aloysius College, Branislav Vlahovic, thought it was time for the college's Under-19 team to play in the newly formed national second division. The team at that time consisted of Claudio Coppini, Paolo Bugeja, Jonathan Chetcuti, Alfred Pullicino, Dathan Muscat, Karl Mercieca, Andrew Attard, Eric Flask and Josef Micallef.
In that year, the team lost all the matches it played, although it was already acknowledged that this young team could go far.
The same season saw the debut of the SAC female second division team, made up of Anna Mifsub Bonnici, Denise borg Millo, Elena Depasquale, Sarah Caruana, Christine Sammut, Elizabeth Caruana Galizia, Corinne Bonello and Nadya Apap. This team, too, lost all the matches it played that year.
That season saw the introduction of the National Under 16 League. In this league SAC showed their real strenght, youths. The youth section was to become the strongest section of SAC in the following years. In fact, the male Under 16 team went on to win it's section.

Season 1995-96

The men's team managed to obtain it's first ever victory, beating Morales by 3-0. The team went on to win three matches that season (all agains the aforemantioned team)The women's team at the end of the second season still had to record their first win. In that season the Under 16 team again finished as winners of their category, for the second consecutive time. The club introduced for the first time a girls Under 16 team.

Season 1996-97

Season 96/97 was the season in which SAC won promotion to the National 1st division league. The boys under 16 team finished as runners up in their league, but the under 19 team, based mostly on the Under 16 teams which had been so successful in the previous two seasons, took home the first Under 19 league they participated in. The women's 2nd division team also recorded their first ever victory, beating Depiro 3-2.

Season 1997-98

The first participation of a SAC team in the First Division took place in 1997/98. In fact, the male team played in the first division, and ended up as runner up, also ending as runner up in the National Cup, in both cases behind Pembroke. This year also saw the birth of SixOnCourt Volleyball Club, made up entirely of former SAC youth players. In the only season of it's existence, the club ended up as Under 19 Champions and Under 16 and 2nd Division Runners up, before merging back into SAC at the end of season 97/98. The SAC Under 16 Girls team recorded its best ever performance, ending up as runners up in their section.

Season 1998-99

This was the most successful year for the male section. In fact, all the male teams placed in the first 3 in all the sections. The Division 1 team finished as runner-up, Division 2 - runner-up, Under 19 - winners, Under 16 - third, Under 14 - runner-up. The female section participated in all the categories, with the best result being the Semi-final elimination of the under 16 team, and the marked improvement of he senior and under 19 teams. The season also saw the first Under 12 tournament organised by the Malta Volleyball Association, with SAC participating and placing in all the categories.
