Canucks make 3 transactions at trading deadline
The Vancouver Canucks have made only 3 transactions at the trading deadline. Vancouver traded Frantisek Kucera to the Phildaelphia Flyers for a 7th round draft choice in 1997. Vancouver then traded Josef Beranek to the Pittsburgh Penguins for future considerations. Finally, Vancouver claimed defenceman Steve Staios off of waivers from the Boston Bruins.
