Lesson Plan
|
This is an excellent lesson filler, and should take no more than 7-10 minutes to set up and run. It is a good idea to have a collection of cue cards such as these on hand for those odd moments, such as when you have to cancel your sheduled lesson because an assembley carries on too long, or all the boys are called to the hall, and so on!
Five volunteers, or nominated individuals, perhaps a standing group, are called to the front of the class, and each one is given a cue card, cut from the table below and pasted onto card. They then have a minute to read their card, ask any questions, and so on, before acting out the scene.
While this is going on, the rest of the class can be asked to observe the scene and can then vote at the end on who they thought should have got what they wanted.
During the role play, stand so you can prompt any actor who is not joining in.
