Personal Statement

I am a highly motivated and enthusiastic young woman who is eager to learn as well as share my knowledge and ideas with others. I have had a passion for teaching from an early age and enjoy working with young people. My goals are to expand my knowledge, methods and strategies within a learning environment and perhaps further my studies as a post-graduate student. I hope to achieve a personal style whereby my pupils will mature into well-rounded individuals who are able to think for themselves and survive in the modern world.

I am a newly qualified teacher in English and Geography and am currently in the UK where I have been supply teaching. I now wish to begin working in South Africa in 2001.

I will be returning to South Africa on the 26th November 2000 from which date I will be available for interviews should my application be considered further.
