The "In Print" Project

Every term your writing circle needs to produce a periodical "in print". The periodical is due on the last day of each term. The periodical can be: Your periodical can be of any length, but each member of the writing circle must have contributed at least one piece of writing. You can, of course contribute more than one piece.

You are responsible for typing your document and saving it to the correct directory (eg. C:\in print\yourfolder). At least one person from your group must be responsible for liasing with the computer studies students to do the layout for your periodical. The writing circle is responsible for scanning in photographs or pictures. You can of course do your own layout!

If you are using computer studies students to do your layout, then you need to provide them with the finished documents at least ten school days before the end of term.

You may combine with another writing circle to produce a bigger periodical.

You may sell your periodical to other students in the school, and keep the profits, but you must pay for all reproduction costs above 20 copies. You may sell advertising to local businesses, and charge other students for classified ads, but must collect disclaimer forms beforehand. If you fail to sign the disclaimer you are personally liable.

Reproduction will be A4 in greyscale (black and white) unless you request otherwise.

Marks will be awarded for participation alone, but you may submit your writing separately for your portfolio.

Things you may want to think about: The best of Luck!
