The basic set is not different from the Limited Premium (which will ship in Feb.). The basic set sold out far more quickly than we were prepared for. A small re-print is being done now, and those cards will ship in January. The Limited Premium will mainly consist of packaging changes (to bring the game in line with al of Five Rings' 1998 releases). If you are familiar with the Obsidian Edition of L5R, you know what I'm talking about. The displays and decks will be oversized. Decks will now come with an over-sized rulebook, 60 glass tokens (in 3 colors, to represent spice, solaris and favor), and a 16 page Quick-Start Guide. In the bottom of each starter display will be 12 fold-out playmats (you get one with each deck you buy). In addition, the typos on the cards and in the card text will be corrected. Dune suffered a bit when Five Rings was purchased by WotC. WotC handles card layout differently, and much of the production work had to be re-done at the last minute. This was nobody's fault-just a symptom of the overall situation. Now that everything is running smoothly again, there should be no similar problems in future sets and expansions. No cards will be changed in the Limited Premium edition. Only packaging and typographical fixes. Christian Last Unicorn
