It was designed as a spice buying deck (arbitrate the other houses into poverty so they can't afford purchases) and for intrigue with captures to hopefully fulfill the requirements for the programs if the hoard is empty and your choam restructuring events aren't on the table yet. Bizzarely, I don't think I conducted a single intrigue rite in 5 intervals - none of my intrigue personas came up! I was fortunate that the guard commander and a swordmaster appeared early, and I instigated several duels against high-cost allies to frustrate my opponents. Obviously the deck has weaknesses. For example, I have no idea why I thought Irulan's peace was a good choice when something like culmination of training would have served my purposes better, and an extra guard commander would have been more prudent. This is a lot better than my awful Hark-Guild prescience deck that was so poorly constructed I was forced to resign in the game I used it in!! Lord Benedict House Gotham
