Zodiac & Zephyr Club
Southland Inc.
was born in the back room of the local YMCA in 1978 when a few Z car
enthusiasts got together and decided to have regular get-togethers and social
outings to combine and assist others in sharing their skills in maintaining
and preserving their treasured vehicles.

The club has gone from
strength to strength and now boasts a membership of over 40 enthusiasts, plus
wives/husbands/partners and their families, and with each member having at least
one classic car, we regularly get to drool over some fabulous motorcars. The friendship and camaraderie amongst
members is second to none, (Southland is well know for it’s
friendly people). |

Our aims are to restore and maintain Zodiacs Zephyrs and Mk1 and Mk2 consuls and promote activities in which all members of the family can join. Membership is open to owners of these vehicles. |
|
|
|
|
|
Meetings are held regularly – usually
during an outing, and our members are scattered all over Southland, so we
have some interesting venues at which to hold these. |
|
|
|
|
|
Next Outing is a Weekend trip to Queenstown to
take in the opening celebrations of the Queenstown Winter Festival, meeting
in Frankton on Saturday morning. We
have an enthusiastic and highly organized Outings Committee. For further information give them a

Conventions
are held at Easter and we are all
looking forward to the International Convention in 2003 which we are hosting
here in Invercargill, Southland, New Zealand.
Our International Convention Committee have been hard at work getting
everything in place for an exciting Easter break in our stress free and
friendly city. |

|
|
We hold Club get-togethers, such as - Ice skating/curling, Grasskhanas, Car Trials, Karaoke Nights, Bus Trips, Xmas Dinners, Volleyball, Soccer, BBQ’s,Tenpin Bowling, Weekend Camps, Mid Winter Xmas Dinners, Fishing/Skiing/Yachting/Swimming weekend or anything that involves fun & friendship for all the family. |
