We now take you back to highlight the problems surrounding the Hardcore
Division. Jr Jnr narrates on what has been a difficult period in the
Hardcore Title Division as since the Halloween PPV there has been no clear
winner in any Hardcore match. Both Commissioners came up with the idea
tthat they would settle it once and for all by selecting three competitors
each to face the reigning Hardcore Champion Dominic Rhyno tonight. Both
commissioners promised that whoever won would have the oppertunity to go to
whichever brand they chose after the PPV.
"Voices" By Disturbed hits and out comes the Hardcore champion in his usual
entrance style, thrashing the place and causing havoc even before the match
starts. He awaits the first competitor, which is Incubus, carrying as
always the brown bag across his shoulder.
This match will work as follows: Each man will enter every two minutes.
The only way you can eliminate a man is by pinfall, submission or by
flinging him over the top rope. If the Hardcore champion going into the
match (in this case Dominic Rhyno) is somehow eliminated, then the match
shall continue until one man is left standing tall in the middle of the
ring.
Both Incubus and The Rhyno are no strangers in this division having many a
memorable match up in the past.
The Rhyno and Incubus lock horns in the centre of the ring, playing a power
strategy before Dominic knocks Incubus into the corner and uses the
battering ram to his ribs. Inc falls to the canvas and The Rhyno takes full
advantage, stomping away. He then moves out of the ring through the bottom
rope, which still means he's a part of this match. The Hardcore Champion
brings out a barbedwire stick, to the amazement of the audience here at
ringside.
Incubus gets to his feet and takes a mad dash through the middle rope onto
The Rhyno on the outside. Two minutes elapse and out comes the next
competitor which is Black2.
Black2 kicks the barbedwire stick away from The Rhyno's reach, but he then
lifts Incubus back inside the ring. Black2 beats the hell out of Incubus
and suddenly notices Dominic Rhyno dashing towards him from behind. Black2
moves out of the way and consequently Incubus gets clotheslined out of the
ring over the top. However Dominic is still holding the ropes and hasn't
let go!! Suddenly another two minutes goes and out comes Dojj, as Dominic
holds on for dear life without letting his feet touch the ground Dojj bails
in and beats the crap out of Black2 as he's trying desperately to eliminate
the Hardcore Champion.
Irish whip by Black2 results in Dojj reversing and trying to chuck him over
the top. Black2 struggles away and Dominic gets enough rest to GORE GORE
GORE Black2 AND Dojj over the top rope!!!
Dominic stands in the ring and yells to the crowds "I'm the dominant one in
the hardcore division!!" As he beats his chest. Down comes the next
opponent and its Chunk E Monkey. Chunk circulates the ring on the outside
and Dominic wills him to get inside, even going so far as to hold the rope
up for him. Chunk on the other hand accepts and without warning nails the
champion with a hidden pair of brass knucks!!!
Chunk races inside and hooks the leg. This doesn't look good at all.
1......2.... KICK OUT BY THE HARDCORE CHAMPION!!!!!
Chunk can't believe it. He beats away on the back of the Hardcore Champion
but Dominic is unfazed by the attack as he gets up with Chunk on his back in
mid air!!!
Dominic nails an F-5 with authority and gets three. Good attempt by Chunk
there but just not good enough as he just misses out.
Dominic wipes some blood off his forehead after the brass knucks attack and
awaits the next opponent. It's the massive tower known as Wildshadow!!! We
know that both these men have a history and that Dominic was beaten before
for the Hardcore Title by this very man.
Wildshadow steps inside and just like matches before begins to dominate over
Dominic Rhyno. He laughs down at the struggling champion and yells "you're
not so dominant anymore are you?!!" This enrages The Rhyno as he powers
Wildshadow into the corner on the far side of the ring. Dominic begins to
lash the hell out of Wildshadow but Wildshadow stands with a grin on his
face.
Wildshadow lifts the Hardcore champion above his head, showing off the
strength and power he posesses. He then almost gets Dominic over the top
rope when suddenly Dominic somehow rolls into a small package. The crowd
goes mad but its only a two count.
The last competitor arrives and its Brother Hornet, who promised earlier
tonight that "Hornetude" would run wild in this match. He quickly goes to
the opposite side of the rinng, the side where the barbedwire stick is left
lying. He takes it in his hands as both men struggle on the inside. He
gets straight in and walks slowly behind Wildshadow.
The Brother takes one swipe of the stick but Wildshadow just notices and
kicks it away. Brother Hornet fears for his life now as he's chokeslammed
into the corner by the towering Wildshadow.
Dominic Rhyno starts to beat away at Wildshadow despite the offence layed
on by his opponent. Suddenly The Rhyno gets the upper hand and forces
Wildshadow back out of the corner. The commentators are amazed at the
strength shown at ringside. The Rhyno tries his hardest to knock Wildshadow
over the top rope when everyone suddenly notices The Brother taking
something from his inside pocket.
It turns out to be another pair of brass knucks. The Brother staggers
forward and just gets to nail The Rhyno right on the back of the head,
causing The Hardcore Champ to fall to the canvas in agony. Wildshadow gets
the cover and the pin and we now know that whatever the result in tonights
match, we WILL have a NEW Hardcore Champion!
The Brother steps back realising what he just did. Wildshadow shows more
rage than ever. The Brother looks to be terrified but takes a dash forward
anyway - but to no use as Wildshadow picks him up for a belly to back
suplex, this time looking to finish the match. But The Brother switches the
knucks to the opposite hand and nails Wildshadow right in the lower jaw,
knocking him clean out, and almost having him fall on top of him.
The Brother however manages to roll Wildshadow on his back and slowly hook
the leg. The crowds are booing as the ref gets in the ring to count...
1....2...3. Thats it!! We have a NEW APWW Hardcore Champion in the shape
of a man who said he was going to do it earlier on tonight.... BROTHER
HORNET!!!!
Hornetude runs wild tonight but how long will it last? Back at the
commentators desk and both Adam and Jr look flabbergasted by the match
they've just seen. And the only thing about it is, thats not it, there are
two more matches to come!!!!!
We take you backstage to Team ReVoLuTiOn's locker room, which for tonight
becomes "Team Hughes" Locker room. The Lunatics, alongside The Vick and
Bluemonkey are standing in line with each other as The Commander, their team
captain for tonight, paces up and down anxiously.
Commander Hughes: "Guys, the moment is almost here. The moment in which you
all will have the oppertunity to shine in which will quite possibly be the
most emotional, most intense, most painful and quite possibly most joyous
match of your entire lives. This is it fellas, this is the one in which
we've waited for for hours, for days, for weeks - Its here. Here in this
Arena, the very foundation of Team ReVoLuTiOn - where Team ReVoLuTiOn was
born, right here, in the APWW Arena. And I've chosen you, Vick, and You
Bluemonkey, alongside The tag team Champions, OUR tag team champions, The
Lunatics to defend it all. We will go out there and do our job, for the
people, for the pride, for APWW. Lets do this....
Hughes looks The Vick dead in the eye, and both men show no emotion
whatsoever....
Hughes: "Do you think that The Manz will defeat us?"
The Vick: "SILLY, YEAH!"
Hughes goes up to Bluemonkey with the same blank look on his face looking
once again dead into the eyes of one of his team members.
"Do you think Extreme One will beat us down?"
Bluemonkey: "SILLY, YEAH!"
The Commander goes to Scot Com Dave....
"Do you think that The Bittermaniacs will capture your gold titles for good
tonight?"
Scot Com Dave: "SILLY, YEAH!"
Finally, The Commander comes up to Kevtista....
"Do you think, for one solitary second that you are incapable of fighting
tonight?"
Kevtista: "Funny, yeah?"
